The Foundation of Every Recipe.

Dogs are built on protein, which is why we start with high-quality animal protein as the first ingredient. These carefully selected proteins deliver valuable nutrients, including naturally occurring iron, zinc, omega-3 fatty acids and collagen to help maintain healthy skin, a shiny coat, strong joints and cognitive health.

Supporting Digestion Naturally.

Plants play an important supporting role. We add fibre, plant protein and slow-release carbohydrates to balance every bowl, giving you one more way to be a good buddy to your dog.

Yellow Peas: Plant protein with natural fibre to keep digestion moving.

Lentils & Chickpeas: Fibre-rich legumes for steady energy and digestive comfort.

Flaxseed: A natural source of Omega-3s and fibre to support healthy skin, coat and
digestion.

Good Carbs. Great Energy.

We carefully select carbohydrate sources that are easy to digest and provide steady energy throughout the day. Ingredients such as rice and dehulled oats offer gentle digestion, natural fibre and sustained energy release, while tapioca and potato provide grain-free alternative options that are ideal for dogs with sensitive digestive systems.

Grain-free recipe options are available across the range to suit your dog's individual needs.

All Health Starts in the Gut.

A happy gut means a happy dog. That’s why we include proven ingredients that support your dog’s microbiome, digestive health and immune defences.

Beet pulp and inulin provide prebiotic fibre that nourishes beneficial gut bacteria and promotes healthy, firm stools, while postbiotics help maintain a balanced gut environment for smooth digestion. Added nucleotides support a strong gut lining and contribute to a resilient immune
system. Because being a good buddy starts with looking after what’s inside.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. While I’m not thrilled with the first two ingredients being filler at least my VERY picky eater is actually eating. It was getting concerning how little he would eat at each sitting and now he finishes most meals. If your dog is anything like him this product will give you peace of mind that they are getting those calories in.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Such a great experience with BuddyMeal! Everything was so easy from the beginning and Koda’s box was honestly so cute to open. I love that his food is personalised specifically for him and that they’ve made feeding him so simple with his own portions and plan. The little details, especially having his photo on his food bags, were such a nice touch. Really impressed with everything so far and Koda is very happy too!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Incredibly professional, very friendly. The product is absolutely fantastic. One of my dogs is a very fussy eater and now he sits waiting for his food. Love how easy the personalisation process is, the delivery is incredibly quick. Living on the other end of SA (Limpopo) receive parcels within a few days. Highly recommend. Excellent quality food at a fraction of the price.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Charlie, our 5 yo rescue Maltese and Max, our 13 yo Pug received their BuddyMeal discovery boxes yesterday, and their 1st try out was very successful.
We recommend the great customer service we received from Luella, and encourage doglovers to have a look at the website, and consider how much healthier and wonderfully personalised this kibble is for our furbabies to be happy and healthy.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our dog has always scoffed at dry food. This meant we had to cater to her difficult pallet with wet food - for a big dog it’s quite the expense.

With buddy meal - she almost bites our hand to get to it. It’s double the nutrients (most wet food is literally 70 % water and air) + we have not needed to take her for her monthly arthritis jabs - as the food contains collagen and all the essential items for her.

Isn’t she gorgeous ?
